Is the problem  

Chipped Paint   Gnawing  Nests      Windshield Wipers
       

 

Nests are usually caused by mice or similar rodents.

Gnawing is usually identified by the size of the gnaw marks

Voles 1/16 inch

Rabbits 1/4 inch

Porcupine

Squirrels

Chipped Paint    Animals see their reflection in the paint and will sometimes peck at it.  
Turkeys

 

 

Windshield Wipers
yes a number of birds love to peck at windshield wipers. Here is our list of known suspects. If you become aware of others please let us know.
